After our always interesting Orkney winters when rain, gales and very short days are par for the course, good summers are very important for one's sanity! Summer 2013 was good thankfully and on one such mild day in July, my youngest daughter and I went walkabout with my work - fun! With her behind the lens, we tried some photography in our garden and also up at Birsay with good views that day across to the Brough.
